Long before campaign literature clogged mailboxes and attack ads dominated television commercials, election workers across the state were meticulously preparing for the midterm elections.
Thousands of voters have already cast ballots during the state’s early voting period, but on Tuesday, thousands more will head to the polls — and if all goes well, everything will go off without a hitch.
