Focus: U.S. Senate candidate and Rep. Jacky Rosen

Who’s paying for it: Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC affiliated with Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell

Size of buy: $1.3 million

When it starts: Sept. 25

Where it’s running: Statewide on broadcast and cable

The gist: The 30-second spot attacks Rosen for voting against Kate’s Law, a proposal to increase the penalties for undocumented immigrants who are deported and return to the United States. At the time, Democrats criticized the bill as “stoking anti-immigrant attitudes,” according to The Hill. “Jacky Rosen put politics first voting with Washington party bosses against tougher penalties for illegal immigrants who repeatedly break the law,” the ad says. “Jacky Rosen put Washington politics before our safety.”
