Steyer-linked NextGen Nevada drops new digital ad touting Rosen over Heller
Focus: U.S. Senate candidates Rep. Jacky Rosen and incumbent Sen. Dean Heller
Who’s paying for it: NextGen Nevada, the state arm of NextGen America, a group founded by California billionaire Tom Steyer.
Size of the buy: $256,300
When it starts: September 25
Where it’s running: Online, targeting young voters statewide
The gist: To the tune of circus music, the 30-second spot asks, “who is right for Nevada,” before grading Rosen and Heller on several issues. On each of them — health care, funding Planned Parenthood, immigration and combating President Donald Trump’s agenda — Rosen receives a blue check while Heller is labeled with a red “x.”
