Nevada board moves to limit transgender athletes in school sports

Under the new policy, student athletes would be required to complete a medical form that includes signatures from the student, parent and a medical provider verifying the accuracy of the student’s birth sex.

Trump's anti-DEI push suspends $20M grant for a Nevada tribe's water infrastructure

On March 7, the Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) — the lead applicant on the grant — discovered it could no longer access the $20 million fund. Three days later on March 10, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced he was cancelling more than $1.7 billion worth of “DEI and Environmental Justice” grants, as part of the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) efforts to cut government spending and compliance with Trump’s executive order to eliminate DEI across the government.

Trump names GOP attorney Sigal Chattah as interim U.S. attorney for Nevada

Chattah, the Republican National Committeewoman for Nevada, has long been an ally of President Donald Trump. She has filed numerous lawsuits challenging Nevada’s election laws, including representing the state Republican Party in its efforts to cancel the 2024 Republican presidential primary and challenging a state law aimed at protecting election workers.
