DSCC starts Google ads campaign to pressure Heller on health care

Sen. Dean Heller's announcement that he is a "no" on the current version of the Senate health care bill, not surprisingly, does not satisfy the Democratic Senatorial Committee.

The DSCC has begin Google Search ads that will ask people to not "be fooled" by Heller's news conference Friday with Gov. Brian Sandoval. The ads will link to a site that has a compendium of stories about how Heller has been for Medicaid cuts before he was against them -- or at least the ones in the Senate measure.

The news comes as Heller also faces a campaign from the right, too, as a Trump administration-linked group is planning a campaign.

Heller is considered the most vulnerable GOP incumbent in the country, the only one running in a state won by Hillary Clinton. Last week, Democratic Rep. Jacky Rosen announced she will run against Heller, and sources confirm Danny Tarkanian is mulling a primary bid.
