Few bills in the Nevada Legislature draw more of a crowd or elicit more emotion than measures dealing with firearms. Already in the 2019 session, two major bills affecting firearms — implementing the stalled background check ballot question and banning "bump stock" devices — have drawn huge crowds, impassioned testimony and lots of claims about what gun laws would and should actually do.
