The hallways of the Legislative Building and the Senate and Assembly chambers were empty for much of the day on Monday before lawmakers reconvened to vote out police reform and eviction mediation measures on the fourth day of a special session.
Gov. Steve Sisolak also held a press conference at the Capitol outlining how the state will move forward with county-specific COVID-19 mitigation measures as it steps away from the broad, statewide reopening phase system and looks for something more “sustainable” than closures of entire industries.
Photographer David Calvert was in Carson City capturing all the action.
