The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many of the normal operations and day-to-day procedures of the state Legislature.

But despite the pandemic, the process of how a bill turns into a law hasn’t changed.

With the 2021 Legislature now in motion, we decided it’d be a good time to re-up this video that legislative reporters Megan Messerly, Michelle Rindels and Riley Snyder filmed during the 2019 legislative session explaining just how a bill becomes a law.
