Nevada’s legislative session has reached the end … kind of.

The Legislature is currently in the throes of the second special session after adjourning its regular session sine die on Monday. Nevada Independent reporters have been chatting with lawmakers, lobbyists, fellow journalists and random strangers wandering around the building at different points of an unusual week to see how everyone was feeling when what was supposed to resolve, didn’t.

Through audio, they captured the emotional ups and downs in the building as negotiations between lawmakers broke down, bills got vetoed, and special sessions of indefinite length loomed among people operating on little sleep and junk food.
