The letter was sent Friday to the Patriot Freedom Fund PAC, which in recent weeks has mailed out several political advertisements typically taking aim at Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo.

Two candidates with legislative experience are vying for what is likely the most under-the-radar executive branch office on the statewide ballot this year — the accounting-focused position of state controller. 

Wednesday night's debate between the top five GOP governor contenders saw plenty of attacks against Joe Lombardo, the presumed and self-proclaimed frontrunner.

The two-page fiscal impact report states those costs would be driven by "voter outreach and education, increased ballot stock costs, personnel expenses, equipment, software and programming costs."

Though her Facebook posts seemingly indicate a more Republican lean, Marsh said that everyone has thrown statements out on Facebook, and there were times when she would say, "just impeach him, too," referring to former President Donald Trump.

In the attorney general's race, Tisha Black received slightly more support than Sigal Chattah (18 percent to 15 percent), but the difference between the two was within the poll's 4.4 percent margin of error.

With the primary election just around the corner, three Clark County trustee seats and four Washoe County trustee seats are up for grabs. The seven incumbents in those seats are all seeking re-election.

Political newcomer Sam Brown has made Nevada's U.S. Senate Republican primary a two-person race, but former Attorney General Adam Laxalt remains the odds-on favorite to win the June 14 contest, according to a new Nevada Independent/OH Predictive Insights poll.

That lead places Lombardo as the "clear favorite" in the primary race, said Mike Noble, chief of research and managing partner of OH Predictive Insights.

Much of the criticism lobbed against Lombardo has come from Democrats who maintain that he is disregarding state law and abusing his privileges as a current officeholder.

The break between the two major police coalitions has sparked attacks from Republicans hoping to unseat Democratic incumbents.
