Think about the role pictures have played in history. Petroglyphs. Ancient Roman graffiti. Renaissance paintings. Grainy, early photos. Instagram posts.
These art forms have captured history, helping us understand previous generations and civilizations. That's why we're so thankful for The Nevada Independent's photographers, who, every year, document what's happening across the state. You'll find them at political rallies, schools, vigils, conventions, cultural events and more.
