PHOTOS: Voting lines, stickers, face masks and campaign signs abound on Election Day

Before Election Day even arrived, more than 1.1 million voters had cast their ballots in Nevada — a product of expanded mail-in voting and the in-person early voting period.

But there are still thousands of Nevadans who will partake in the civic ritual and vote today. Many braved chilly weather and lined up outside polling locations this morning in Reno and Las Vegas, eagerly waiting for the doors to open.

The Nevada Independent's photographers captured the scene across the state. Here's a sampling of the Election Day atmosphere in the Silver State:
