Actor Jeremy Renner, who stars as Hawkeye in the Marvel movie franchise, took to the stage Wednesday in Reno for an interview with Nevada Independent CEO Jon Ralston.

Renner, who lives in Washoe County, had pushed for Northern Nevada to be included in a film tax incentive package considered by the Legislature this spring, although neither the original bill nor the expansion that Renner backed became law.
