Video: Nevadans take to the streets in Reno and Las Vegas

Protests advocating for police reform and racial equality have swept across the nation after the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and Reno and Las Vegas were no exception.
The demonstrations have prompted some state policymakers to publicly revisit the laws and protocols of policing. Their ideas range from changing the makeup of boards that set training standards for law enforcement having more oversight when police are accused of misconduct.
As lawmakers brace for a special legislative session to address a pandemic-driven budget shortfall, they have said they may call for policing reforms on the agenda as well.
