Nevada households have seen prices rise by more than $900 in the months since the Trump administration enacted wide-reaching tariffs.
Between February and September 2025, the tariffs cost Nevada households an average of $941, according to a November report by Congressional Democrats on the Joint Economic Committee.
An updated report published in December does not include state-specific data but concluded that tariffs cost the average American household $1,197.50 from February through November.
According to an analysis through Nov. 17 by the Budget Lab at Yale, the commodities that have experienced the largest price increases are leather and clothing products, electrical equipment and computer electronics.
These commodities have seen prices increase between 17 and 22 percentage points in the short term. Motor vehicle prices have also risen by 13% in the short term.
