The average age of Las Vegas visitors in 2022 was 40.7 years, down from 43.2 years in 2021 and 47.2 in 1992. The nearly 39 million visitors were also more ethnically diverse, with higher rates of Asian and Latino visitors.

In 2019, gambling revenue in Macau was six times that of Las Vegas. In 2022, Las Vegas edged ahead of Macau because the Chinese government’s “Zero Covid” policy shuttered the city’s casinos.
