By Austin Tannenbaum on 02/24/2023

YES

Nevada is consistently rated as one of the most stressful states in the country.

WalletHub ranked Nevada the second most stressed state in 2022 using 41 key indicators across four main categories. Nevada ranked 17th in work-related stress, 7th in money-related stress, 1st in family-related stress and 10th in safety-related stress.

Using a stress-detection tool to analyze 4 million geotagged tweets from 340 major U.S. cities about money, careers, relationships, education, social media and the news, virtual health provider PlushCare ranked Nevada the 4th most stressful state in 2022.

Earlier this month, wellness services company Innerbody ranked Nevada 1st in work-related stress, 8th in money-related stress, 11th in health-related stress, and 1st in stress overall.

Stress was high and rising for Americans generally in 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising costs of living.
