Oregon man arrested for threats against Clark Commissioner April Becker

A 41-year-old man was arrested in Oregon on Wednesday morning for making online threats against Clark County Commissioner April Becker and three others, including a minor.
The criminal complaint, obtained by The Nevada Independent, said that the FBI became aware of the threatening post made by Travis William Juhr against Becker in early December 2025.
Becker is not named in the lawsuit, but confirmed that she was the elected official in Las Vegas referred to in the suit as Nevada, Adult Victim 1 (AV1).
According to the complaint, a now deleted social media post on an account connected to T Juhr posted a picture of the commissioner accompanied by threatening text. The account has since been suspended.
“I’m coming down to Nevada for you [AV1],” the post on X read, according to the complaint. “I hope you have your doors and windows locked. Because I love a challenge when hunting my PREY. #MAGAHuntersPDX.”
A threatening voicemail to Becker also left a callback number connected to Juhr, according to the complaint. Juhr has not been formally charged, but is facing potential charges of making interstate electronic threats, as well as threats against children, as two of the victims were underage.
In a statement to The Indy, Becker said she was grateful for the local law enforcement in Nevada and expressed thanks for Oregon local police and the FBI, stating she was “relieved” Juhr had been arrested.
According to a LinkedIn profile with a phone number that matches his number from the complaint, Juhr currently works as an IT-system architect for the state of Oregon.
Oregon officials did not respond to confirm if Juhr was still employed with the state.
Americans see political violence as on the rise in the United States, according to a Pew Research Center study. In Nevada, Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) was targeted by violent antisemitic and misogynistic threats from a Las Vegas resident in 2023.
Three other victims in Portland, Oregon, were also named in the complaint as Adult Victim 2, Minor Victim 1 and Minor Victim 2, whom all are related. Two of the victims, a mother and son, had attended an Immigration and Customs Enforcement counterprotest in Portland called “Patriots Night.”
While at the protest, a photo of the 13-year old minor victim’s face was posted online, and he was identified by Juhr, who began posting threats about killing the child on a now-suspended X account, saying that he would be “always be a teen” and that he was “Excited for the Obituaries.”
According to the complaint, Juhr is also believed to have posted a picture of a Sig Sauer rifle under another alias on X (Sig Sauer rifles are primarily used by the U.S. military). The rifle had a sticker that stated “I Choose Violence,” alongside a sticker of a green frog.
The complaint also chronicles Juhr’s threats to kill President Donald Trump.
