PHOTOS: Candidates make last pitch to voters ahead of Saturday caucus

Almost every major Democratic presidential candidate rallied supporters in Nevada on Friday, as part of a last push before the state's Saturday caucus.

Outside of Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who held events in Elko and Reno, every major Democratic candidate held their events Friday evening throughout the Las Vegas valley. Even President Donald Trump, who is avoiding a competitive primary in the state, held a large rally Friday afternoon in Las Vegas while predicting chaotic results from the Democratic process.

Some, like former Vice President Joe Biden and former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, held their campaign events in area schools. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders drew a crowd of roughly 2,000 to the Springs Preserve for an event, while Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren spoke to hundreds at a Clark County government building, and California billionaire Tom Steyer hosted a quasi-rally, quasi-concert with 90s girl group TLC and Swedish electropop due Icona Pop.

Here's a look at the scene Friday night, as captured by photographers for The Nevada Independent.

We’re looking out for Nevada — and for you

At The Nevada Independent, we spend our days monitoring government meetings so the public knows what’s happening behind the scenes, holding powerful institutions accountable, and helping you understand the issues that affect you.

In this critical election year, that mission is especially important.

In 2026, we’re closely watching state races, policy changes, and public accountability — so our community has accurate, trusted information when it matters most.

We’ve set a goal to raise $48,000 by April 24. Every gift moves us closer.
