On this week’s episode of IndyMatters, reporter Riley Snyder sits down with the director of the Governor’s Office of Energy David Bobzien and the director of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Brad Crowell to discuss an executive order that was signed by Governor Steve Sisolak that will build off of an executive order earlier this year aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This new order looks to coordinate state agencies in an attempt to further the state’s fight against climate change. Later, we have a story from KUNR’s community health reporter Anh Gray on HIV. She talks to Ivy Spadone, the Chief Operating Officer of Northern Nevada HOPES, a nonprofit community health center in downtown Reno, about starting the clinic over twenty years ago. At the end of the episode, we have a fun trivia segment with reporters Michelle Rindels and Riley Snyder on sports in the state.
