Ahead of VP visit to Nevada, Democrats launch campaign ads in Las Vegas promoting comeback from pandemic, vaccine rates

Ahead of the 4th of July weekend, the Democratic National Committee is launching a new television ad campaign in Las Vegas and nearly a dozen other states promoting "America's Coming Back" under President Joe Biden.
The five-figure television ad campaign starts Wednesday in the Las Vegas television market and runs through the weekend, coinciding with Vice President Kamala Harris's planned trip to Las Vegas this weekend.
The 60-second ad highlights the return to normalcy after the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, juxtaposing archived year-old newscast of the early days of the pandemic with a headline of rising vaccine rates — giving Americans the "freedom to hug a grandchild, to see a baseball game in person. To come back together, again."
"Because of the American Rescue Plan, shots are in arms, checks are in bank accounts, small businesses are reopening, and our country is getting back on track," DNC Chair Jaime Harrison said in a statement. "As Americans get together this July 4 to celebrate our independence, the DNC is making sure they know that President Biden and Democrats are delivering for them."
This marks the second television ad by the Democratic National Committee aired in Nevada this year — the other focused on the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill.
