The Nevada Independent will be hosting our next IndyTalks event on March 28th with Clark County Education Association Executive Director John Vellardita, Clark County School District Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara, and Clark County School District teacher Laura Jeanne "Jeannie" Penrod.

This conversation-driven event will be moderated by CEO and Nevada Independent founder Jon Ralston and will focus on the big topics challenging the successful delivery of quality K-12 education in Clark County and across the state — including learning loss driven by COVID shutdowns, understaffing, uneven resource allocation, wide achievement gaps and more.
