The Nevada Democracy Project is a partnership between Vegas PBS and The Nevada Independent. This initiative is focused on civic engagement and inclusive community conversations and aspires to close a widening gap in Nevadans' understanding of and engagement in local and state government.

On February 3, state lawmakers will convene in Carson City for the 83^rd Session of the Nevada Legislature. But before they go, a few of those lawmakers will meet with Nevadans to discuss residents' biggest priorities in a special Nevada Democracy Project listening session. We invite you to share your ideas and concerns with these state representatives.  Amber Renee Dixon, host of Nevada Week, and Rocio Hernandez, reporter for The Nevada Independent will moderate this discussion.

Entrance is free, we just ask that you register here so we can ensure we have enough chairs set up in the room.  Space is limited so this will be a first come, first serve. We will confirm your attendance prior to the event and will create a waiting list for those that follow.
