Nevada was allocated $571 million in federal pandemic aid for child care purposes, but experts are unclear exactly how the money helped families and are calling for an audit of the Department of Health and Human Services.

The surprise resignation came after three unnamed regents called on Board Chair Cathy McAdoo on Monday to convene a special public meeting to discuss Kilroy’s firing on Friday.
