Former Vice President Joe Biden endorses Steven Horsford for Nevada's 4th Congressional District
Former Vice President Joe Biden has endorsed Steven Horsford in the Democratic primary for Nevada's 4th Congressional District.
"Steven Horsford is a proven champion for Nevada's working families," Biden said in a statement issued Tuesday. "He has the personal experience to understand the challenges our communities face and the right skills to know how to get things done."
Horsford, who previously represented the district for one term, is far ahead in fundraising in a large field of candidates that includes state Sen. Pat Spearman, high school principal John Anzalone, health-care activist Amy Vilela and Regent Allison Stephens.
This cycle, Biden has also endorsed Democrat Susie Lee for Nevada's 3rd Congressional District and Democrat Jacky Rosen for Senate.
