Heller releases two new veteran-focused ads that highlight his accomplishments, attack Rosen

Focus: Republican U.S. Sen. Dean Heller and his opponent, Democratic Rep. Jacky Rosen
Who's paying for it: Heller's campaign
Size of buy: Unknown
When it starts: Sept. 11
Where it's running: Statewide
The gist: Heller's campaign is seeking to contrast the Republican senator against his opponent, Rosen, in these two new 30-second spots. In one, veterans say that they will "never forget how Jacky Rosen treated us," repeating accusations that Rosen campaigned with actress Jane Fonda, skipped a vote to help veterans suffering from the side effects of Agent Orange to film a "campaign commercial" and voted against "holding the VA accountable for mistreating veterans."
In the second, Heller directly addresses the camera saying that veterans "should never have to wait in line." He says that he "shook things up, fired the director and passed 40 pieces of legislation to help our veterans" and that "now, 500,000 veterans are no longer waiting for the care they earned."
