Horsford, DCCC to launch first TV ad of general election in House race

Focus: Democrat Steven Horsford, candidate in Nevada's 4th Congressional District

Who’s paying for it: Horsford’s campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee

Size of buy: $1 million airtime reserved (although the full reservation may not be entirely spent on this ad)

When it starts: Sept. 12

Where it’s running: Las Vegas

The gist: Horsford criticizes Republicans for a recent tax overhaul, saying it gave billionaires tax cuts and that Republicans “will cut Social Security and Medicare to pay for it.” He promises to “invest in vocational training and to make college affordable, so Nevadans have the skills they need to succeed. Because giving people a chance is my life’s work.”
