The gist: The 30-second ad attacks Heller for his history with the Affordable Care Act — the federal health-care law that he has been accused of “flip-flopping” on. The spot accuses Heller of bending to threats from President Donald Trump and voting for legislation that would let insurance companies deny health coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. “Dean Heller sold us out to save himself,” the narrator says.
