Focus: U.S.Senate candidate and Rep. Jacky Rosen

Who’s paying for it: Rosen’s campaign

Size of buy: The ad is backed by the Rosen campaign’s ongoing eight-figure buy

When it starts: Oct. 16

Where it’s running: The Rosen campaign declined to specify which market or markets the ad is running in

The gist: The 30-second ad, titled “We Need That,” touts that Rosen “gets things done because she works with both parties.” The ad features several people listing Rosen’s accomplishments since entering the House, including legislation that President Donald Trump signed into law that included provisions from one of Rosen’s bills to improve the Department of Veterans Affairs health-care payment and reimbursement system for outside providers and educate veterans about their health-care options. The ad also says that Rosen “stood up to [House Minority Leader] Nancy Pelosi to reform the VA,” “she passed bipartisan legislation strengthening science and math education,” and “she’s working across party lines to lower health-care costs.”

“Jacky Rosen knows that fighting for Nevada means working with both parties,” the ad says. “We need that in the Senate.”
