Focus: U.S.Senate candidate and Rep. Jacky Rosen

Who’s paying for it: Rosen’s campaign

Size of buy: The ad is backed by the Rosen campaign’s ongoing eight-figure buy

When it starts: Oct. 22

Where it’s running: The Rosen campaign declined to specify which market or markets the ad is running in

The gist: Rosen directly addresses the camera in this 30-second ad to push back on criticisms from her opponent, U.S. Sen. Dean Heller, about her experience. She says that she is working across the aisle to find health-care fixes, had veterans legislation signed into law by President Donald Trump and broke with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to reduce taxes for the middle class. (Rosen was one of three Democrats who voted with Republicans to support legislation that would extend individual income and estate tax provisions from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.)

“Dean Heller has become totally partisan and broke his promise to protect our health care. That’s the wrong experience,” Rosen said. “You’ve got to work across party lines to do what’s right for Nevada.”
