Rep. Jacky Rosen has raised nearly $7.1 million over the last three months in her bid to unseat U.S. Sen. Dean Heller, according to early fundraising totals released by her campaign.

The Democratic congresswoman’s third quarter haul more than doubles the $3.5 million she raised during the second quarter of the year and eclipses the $5.3 million that then-Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto raised over the same time period during the 2016 election. Rosen ended the quarter on Sept. 30 with $2.6 million in the bank. The third-quarter totals were first reported by Roll Call.

Her campaign noted that it has received more than 290,000 total donations since her campaign began in July 2017, including contributions from every Nevada county. Ninety-five percent of those contributions have been $100 or less with an average contribution of $54, the campaign said.

“Nevadans are ready for a Senator who can be trusted to stick to her convictions and do what’s right for hardworking families, and that’s why the momentum is on our side in the final stretch of the campaign,” Rosen campaign manager Danny Kazin said in a statement.

Heller has not yet publicly released his third-quarter fundraising totals, and a campaign spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for those numbers. He raised $2.4 million during the second quarter of the year and had $5.9 million saved in the bank as of June 30.

Rosen raised $240,000 in the first quarter of 2017 and $310,000 in the second, which stretched through the end of June, before announcing her Senate campaign at the beginning of July. She raised $1.2 million in the third quarter of 2017, a little less than $1.6 million in the fourth, and $2.6 million in the first quarter of 2018. By comparison, Heller raised $1.4 million in the first quarter of 2017, $1.4 million in the second quarter, $1.2 million in the third quarter, $800,000 in the fourth quarter, and $1.1 million in the first quarter of 2018.
