Between the nonstop television ads and seemingly endless campaign mailers, it's difficult to escape politics right now. But breathe easy: There is an end in sight.
The midterm election is Nov. 6, and because we're roughly a month away, the battle is on to capture votes. Voter registration deadlines are approaching, which means early voting is just around the corner.
In the end, elections are won by turnout — i.e., people actually casting ballots — but voter registration numbers can provide a glimpse into what may happen come Election Day. Here's a look at how Nevada's active voter registration numbers stand as of Sept. 30:
