The gist: Hardy, a Republican, is up with his first television ad ahead of the general election, a 30-second biographical spot that highlights his long family history in Nevada and his business background.

“Fifth generation Nevada Tough. Cresent Hardy built his business from the ground up and fought to create hundreds of good paying jobs right here in Nevada,” the narrator says. “He understands hard work. Cresent never asks if you’re a Republican or a Democrat or who you voted for. He asks how he can help and gets to work. He fights for us because he’s one of us.”
