Democratic confidence in elections sinks in Nevada after 2024 election, poll shows

The poll — one of the first major snapshots of the issue since the 2024 election — found that Democratic voters’ confidence in elections has dipped by nearly 30 percentage points since the election.

How Democrat Jacky Rosen won Nevada's Senate race in a Trump year

The freshman senator attributes her success to localizing the Senate race, emphasizing her Nevada roots and commitment to bipartisanship and painting Brown as too extreme for the state. This allowed her to win even in a national environment that favored Republicans and keep enough registered nonpartisan and soft Republican Trump voters from picking Brown as well.

Clark, Washoe counties certify 2024 election results

The Clark County Commission unanimously approved the results, while Washoe County Commissioner Jeanne Herman, a Republican, was the only vote against certification amid complaints from residents alleging widespread fraud.
