A Democratic super PAC aligned with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is spending $1 million on two new ads attacking U.S. Sen. Dean Heller over his positions on the Affordable Care Act and Planned Parenthood.

The ads, entitled “Not With Us” and “Flips on Everything,” focus on Heller’s votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act last year after appearing at a press conference last June with popular Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval and stating he would not support a Senate revision to the insurance law. The two 30-second spots, paid for by the Senate Majority PAC, will begin airing tomorrow statewide.

Both ads also highlight the daylight between remarks he made at a town hall in Reno last year in which he said he had “no problems” with federal funding for Planned Parenthood and later voted to defund the organization.

Senate Majority PAC, which was formerly affiliated with Nevada Sen. Harry Reid, spent more than $9.2 million in ads attacking Republican Senate candidate Joe Heck in the 2016 election cycle, out of around $75.4 million spent nationwide according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

The super PAC has promised to spend $80 million in its first wave of fall advertising in Nevada and eight other states: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Tennessee and West Virginia, according to the Washington Examiner. The Senate Leadership Fund, another super PAC run by allies of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, has placed an initial fall advertising reservation of nearly $25 million in Nevada, Missouri and North Dakota.

Heller and Democratic Rep. Jacky Rosen easily won their respective primary elections last month and will face off in November in one of the marquee U.S. Senate matchups of 2018. Heller is the only Republican running in a state won by Hillary Clinton in 2016.
