A plan to expand and modernize Harry Reid International Airport received an informal go-ahead from Clark County commissioners Tuesday.

When Clark County commissioners unanimously agreed earlier this month to an $80 million settlement with an aggrieved developer hoping to build thousands of homes across from Red Rock National Conservation Area, they closed the book on a years-long string of litigation that had threatened to bankrupt the county.

The new mask mandate will apply to all businesses in incorporated cities and unincorporated parts of the county and takes effect at the stroke of midnight on Thursday.
