A few thousand Nevadans had their primary election ballots flagged for missing or mismatched signatures that needed fixing; several did not respond and their ballots were ultimately disqualified.

Clark County’s CARES Housing Assistance Program (CHAP) has helped another 1,500 households pay rent and other bills in the past month, although it is falling short of the pace program administrators had projected in late March.

The lawsuit largely copies the claims in the previously-filed suits: that various instances of individuals potentially receiving mail ballots addressed to different voters and other supposed irregularities are cause for the court to order a new election and prohibit use of an automated signature verification machine used by Clark County.

The Trump campaign and Nevada Republican Party filed a lawsuit Friday requesting a pause in Clark County’s mail ballot counting until “proper procedures” for “meaningful observation” are in place.

Although “early voting” sites will be open, local election officials said that there won’t be any traditional voting machines at the sites; instead, voters will be given an absentee ballot and asked to fill it out.
