Attorneys with the Nevada Commission on Ethics are recommending the panel find that Gov. Joe Lombardo violated state law for using his Clark County Sheriff uniform and badge while running for governor in 2022.

While not unprecedented, Lombardo’s use of a nonprofit to manage his inaugural ball marks a departure from past practice.
