Recortes en fondos federales amenazan investigación de sobredosis de drogas en Nevada

El 7 de febrero, los Institutos Nacionales de Salud (NIH) anunciaron que limitarán al 15 por ciento la tasa que invertirán en los llamados costos indirectos de fondos de investigación, lo que equivaldrá a recortar billones para la investigación biomédica y de salud pública.

Un analista económico local dijo que la falta de detalles acerca de los aranceles dificulta pronosticar un resultado para una industria de Nevada o para la economía del estado en su conjunto. Si los aranceles tienen éxito al impulsar la manufactura nacional, Nevada se podría beneficiar.
